Commissioning of a float glass plant in
Russia
Situation: A major glass manufacturer was
opening a brand new float glass plant on a greenfield site in the
Moscow Region, There was no grid power available so both the
construction of the factory and glass production were unable to
start.
Solution: Aggreko provided a 12MW power package
which was delivered in two stages. 7MW was delivered for
construction power then a further 5MW was delivered to facilitate
production.
